narrative – high expression
Use contrast between type sizes to amplify to our high expression. Nordic Plate Lifestyle should be used for the focus of the message, with Nordic Plate System used for the smaller type.
narrative – low expression
Use Nordic Plate System for our low-expression applications to aid readability and promote a cinematic look and feel.
informative – large
Nordic Plate Lifestyle should be used for headers and show names, with Nordic Plate System used for data and CTA information.
informative – small
Even at small sizes, we should use Nordic Plate Lifestyle for headers and Nordic Plate System for secondary information.
MISUSE
To ensure our brand remains consistent and looking its best, please avoid the following when using type.
don’t flip type hierarchy
Nordic Plate Flagship should always be used for the focus message, with Nordic Plate System used for information in smaller type
don’t use lowercase
Always using uppercase, which gives strength and consistency to our type.
don’t ADD any effects to type
Effects devalue the strength of our brand and should never be used.
don’t use red for all typography in information applications
