The channel idents are our most expressive brand moment, a chance to create delight and a smile-in-
the-mind for our audience. They serve to deliver the essence of the brand and elevate our unique personality and quirks.

The idents have been designed to align closely with our content: from blue light drama to cosy Saturday nights,
we’ve got it covered.

20.01 concept: a portrait of
magnetic entertainment

In a hyper-real, highly tactile graphic environment, 
objects fly through the air, seemingly drawn by an unexpected force. In an aerial moment of clarity, the elements snap together, shaping our iconic logo.
These collections capture an inside view of our shows in a series of ‘taste vignettes’. Consisting of eight stories closely aligned with our content themes, they are accessible across all channels and regions, seamlessly interchangeable. Designed to enhance the atmosphere and content, they complement the shows they accompany and elevate the overall viewer experience.

super-slow MOTION

The objects are shot at 1,000 frames per second and played in reverse to give the impression that they are being pulled by an undeniable magnetic force. We are able to savour the details and unique compositions while they tumble through the air.

TUMBLING AND GATHERING

The objects tumble across the surface and it becomes clear that they are attracted to one spot.

FORMING THE LOGO MAGNETS

The final shot shows the objects forming the logo magnets, landing the idea of our brand’s magnetic power.

A POWERFUL SNAP

The closer serves as a pivotal moment that captures the satisfying feeling of attraction, striking a delicate balance between allowing the objects to descend gracefully and the magnetic finale, as they seamlessly snap into place.

With careful editing and gradual acceleration we amplify the feeling of magnetism, culminating with the logo formation in the final shot.

According to legal requirements the logo needs to be visible for at least three seconds in the ident. The editor needs to decide between SHOTS 2 and 3 to meet this rule. In SHOT 2, aim to show about 30–50%
of the logotype, while SHOT 3 should have the full logo displayed for two full seconds.

5 Seconds

shot1 (2 sec)

A close crop of our objects as they tumble through the air in hyper slow motion, allowing the audience to savour the detail of the movement. Camera travels slightly left.

shot2 (1 sec)

With a broader and lower framing, we bring the audience closer to the surface, the camera smoothly advancing forward to join the objects as they tumble ahead. Initially scattered, they gradually converge on the magnetic focal point.

shot3 (2 sec)

The camera snaps out in an aerial position as the objects form the shape of the magnets around the logotype. In a final moment they snap into place as we pull back, revealing the fully formed logo.
